Mentoring Movement in Roanoke!
Congratulations to Acts 2 Ministries, winners of a $5,000 grant from the Michael Baisden Foundation to help mentor children in the Roanoke area.
The Michael Baisden Foundation gives a local charity a $5,000 grant amount to help them to continue their efforts in mentoring youth in the local community. Acts two currently serves over 220 youth in the Roanoke City district and continues to mentor them in the schools.

ViBE 100, SunTrust, and the following local businesses were also proud to award several other local mentoring organizations an individual check for $1,000 each. Congratulations to Jubilee Family Center, Noah-Christian Community Center, Apple Ridge Farm, and Lynchburg Progressive Fire Fighters.
